A Norwich man has pleaded guilty to allegations that he strangled a woman to death last year. 29 year old Caquasja Veale entered into a plea deal with prosecutors on Wednesday to manslaughter after he was initially charged with second degree murder. In July of 2023, 44 year old Alisa Ann Martin was found dead in her North Broad Street apartment. The prosecutor will recommend a prison term of 22 years. Veale was apprehended in North Carolina.
