It was a weekend of graduation in Oneonta. Hartwick College passed out 210 diplomas on Saturday during the college’s 92nd commencement ceremony. Student Government Association President Noah Hurt reminded everyone that these graduates were just beginning college when the COVID-19 pandemic was causing so much havoc.
And SUNY Oneonta graduated 1,250 students, also on Saturday, during spring commencement. The universirty’s president also discussed how students began their college journey on screens instead of in classrooms. On Friday, graduating seniros took patrt in the traditional Pass Through the Pillars event and senior class toast.
