A Sidney woman has died after being struck by a train. Sidney Village Polcie say officers were called just after 6am Wednesday to an area off West Road, where a pedestrian had been struck by the train. The Norfolk Southern train had stopped on the tracks after the collision. 34 year old Nikita M. Burns was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the ordeal remain under investigation.
