An Otego man has been arrested for trying to lure a teenaged girl for sex. Village of Bath Police say 35 year old Andrew McCarthy was arrested over the holiday weekend after he drove more than two hours to meet a 14 year old girl. They say his intent was to take the girl back to his home in order to pursue a sexual relationship. Bath Police met McCarthy in one of the village’s parks on May 25th and arrested him for attempted rape and attempted child luring.
