The planning board in Oneonta said Monday – that it would make a decision on a proposed campground at Clapper’s Maple Ridge Ranch – on May 20th. The campground proposal has brought controversy from neighboring property owners, who claim the plans would ruin the rural charm and lower their property values. After much opposition at last month’s planning board meeting, the Clappers have removed a swimming pool from the plans – and will only build four cabins the first year and three more the second year.
