A major announcement on Thursday regarding construction along Interstate 88 in Otsego County. New York Governor Kathy Hocul unveiled a nearly 22 million dollart project to resurface the highway from exit 18 in the town of Maryland – to exit 19 in the town of Worcester. That’s about 8.4 miles that inclues bridge and culvert work – in an effort to improve safety along the corridor connecting the Southern Tier and the Capital Region. The work is scheduled for completion by early 2026.
