A new kayak launch is now open at Otsego Lake, The New York State Parks and Recreation Department says the launch is located within Glommerglass State Park in Cooperstown. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday for the 50-thousand dollar rpoject. The new kayak launch is designed for universal use, including for individuals who may have mobility limitations. It features an overhead grab bat to provide for extra stability for those getting in and out of kayaks and canoes.
