There will be no replacement for 1st Ward Oneonta Common Councilmember Luke Murphy just yet. Councilmember Kaytee Lipari-Shue, on Tuesday, moved to delay the nomination of Elayne Mosher-Campoli. Mayor Mark Drnek nominated Mosher-Campoli last week after Murphy announced he would soon be moving to Seattle. The vote to table accepting Drnek’s nomnation was 5-to-3. After the vote, a clearly upset Murphy told the council “shame on you,” before collecting a few things and walking out of the meeting. The council’s next meeting is June 4th.
