A Deposit man has been arrested for assault and mansluaghter after the death of a child. New York State Polcie have arrested 26 year old James Crist Junior after troopers responded Friday to a home on Fair Street in Deposit. A toddler had reportedly become unresponsive and later died at a hospital. Crist is now being held in the Delaware County Jail with no bail as the investigation continues.
