There is NOT consensus regarding the sale of the 27 Market Street property in Oneonta. Last week, a town hall meeting was held and hundreds of people showed up to sound off. Sunday night, a group called Concerned Citizens of Oneonta held its own public meeting at Hartwick COllege’s Anderson Theater. Right now, the city is planning to sell the property to Rehabilitation Support Services, which provides community-based mental health and substance abuse services. Another public hearing by the common council is planned for Tuesday.
