The Chenango County Supervisors have apporived a measure to fund improvements to Cook Memorial Park in Greene. The county will work with the Chenango County Soil and Water Conservation District for renovations. The Daily Star reports that park renovations would include building a new bathhouse larger than the current facility, which would include more showers. The park, with an 18 acre pond, sees around 1,000 visitors each year and offers activities such as fishing, hiking, picnicking, and camping.
