Oneonta Common Council Poised To Make Changes To Residential Zoning Classifications

The Stagecoach Coffee business plan was rejected, and now Oneonta city leaders are trying to make sure that kind of controversy doesn’t happen again. A plan calls for changes to residential zoning districts to clarify and even expand definitions of restaurants and neighborhood markets. The Oneonta Common Council will be discussing these changes today. Another change would prevent homeowners from operating a bar out of their garage and simply calling it an accessory use as defined by city code.
