Oneonta Theater Maqruee Lit Up For First Time In Many Years

You may have noticed the extra light along Chestnut Street in Oneonta. For the first time in many, many years, the marquee at Oneonta Theater was lit Monday night. Work to get the marquee back in operation started a little more than a year ago by the group called Friends of the Oneonta Theater. Some of the funding used to rehab the marquee came from a half million dollar grant from the city that was obtained from the New York Main Street Program.
