The ice skating rink at Sheldon Park in Delhi will open again this year after sitting idle in 2022. Council Member Margaret Baldwin said she received a request from several residents for the ice rink to be revived. She organized the effort with Mayor Jeffrey Gearhart. The village will take over the rink’s operations and has been permitted to use the town’s equipment. Several residents donated nearly 600-dollars to help repair the liner and purchase hay bales for the rink border.
