The Catskill Symphony Orchestra, has named a new leader. The symphony’s board of directors has chosen Glen Cortese as the new artistic director. The Catskill Symphony is now in its 70th year. Cortese has already been serving in an interim capacity since July. Cortese has previously worked with the Chenectady-Saratoga Symphony Orchestra and the Western New York Chamber Orchestra.
