A town hall meeting in Stamford on Monday, to figure out how to help dozens of people displaced from a massive fire that consumed apartments and two businesses. Village Mayor Robert Schneider said the outpouring of support has been very good to see. Village Hall was filled with donations of clothing, diapers, chidlren’s toys, food items, and much more. Schneider has asked for item donations to stop. What’s needed most now, is cash, which can be dropped off at village hall or TP’s Cafe on Railroad Avenue.
