The Susquehanna SPCA animal shelter remains closed to the public to due what’s being described as multiple viruses and illnesses in animals. The shelter in Otsego County posted on social media Thursday that several dogs had been taken in over the last week that were very ill with contagious diseases and had to be quarantined. Because of limited staffing, the shelter has had to focus all of it’s resources on these animals until they get better.
