The United Health Services nursing home in Norwich is closing for good. Chenango Memorial Hospital, which operates the facility, said in a statement Wednesday that, after more than 50 years of serving seniors in the greater Chenango community, the long-term care unit on the hospital’s second floor would cease operations at the end of January. No new residents will be accepted, effective immediately.
