OPD Finds No Evidence Of Shooting Near Myrtle And Spruce

An update to a shooting incident in Oneonta. On Tuesday, OPD sais they have found no evidence that gunshots were ever actually fired the night of October 28th near Spruce and Myrtle. Just after 11pm, as lots of people were walking around the area, numerous very loud pops were heard, causing people to flee in terror. There had been a verbal dispute between several people, when a man believed to be from New York City, pulled something from his waist area and discharged it. However, OPD says none of the witnesses described the item as being a functioning firearm.
