Bassett Healthcare Network president and chief executive officer Dr. Tommy Ibrahim has announced his resignation after nearly four years on the job. Ibrahim will work through the end of this year. The board named Staci Thompson, the current executive vice president and chief operating officer – as interim CEO, effective January 1st. The board of directors thanks Ibrahim for his “visonary leadership” transforming Basset’s facilities into a more integrated delivery system, and for forging strong partnerships with forward-thinking organizations.
