The Delaware County Electric Cooperative and SUNy Delhi have received 400-thousand dollars inf ederal funding to develop curriculum for an advanced line-worker training program. US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced the funding on Friday, saying the investment will supercharge the work of DCEC, while providing line workers with the schools necessary for jobs maintaining and modernizing electric infeastructure in rural communities across the Southern Tier.
