Reports of a student with a gun in one Otsego County School District. New York State Police responded to Schenevus Central School on Thursday after school staff reported a student was having a mental health crisis. The student left the school facility on his own and was found at his home a few minutes later. It was determined that the student DID have a gun on school grounds earlier in the day, but he never made any threats and never displayed the weapon. The boy has since been arrested. His name not being released due to privacy concerns.
