Oneonta Warming Center Ribbon Cutting

The homeless population in Oneonta now has a place to keep warm in the winter months. Catholic Charities held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at their new warming center on Thursday. The center has ten beds, laundry services, bathrooms and showers, and some basic food items. Executive Director Christy Houck says the center is not considered a shelter. It will only be open from November to March.
