A Chenango County woman is identified as the victim of a tragic crash in Norwich. Reports show 82 year old Lorena Mayes was killed in the Tuesday crash near State Highway 12 and County Road 32 in the town of North Norwich. State Polcie say Mayes was driving her Buick Lacerne with a 91 year old passenger who was also injured. The crash report shows Mayes did stop at the sign, but did not heed the right of way to the oncoming traffic and pulled out in front of another car.
