Sheriff Craig DuMond announced that on 7/6/2023 members of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division assisted the New York State Office of Cannabis Management Enforcement Division at an inspection of a local business known as HEMPIRE, physically located at 53538 State Highway 30 Roxbury, NY.
Since June 7th, the New York State Office of Cannabis Management and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance have conducted inspections of unlicensed cannabis retail businesses throughout New York State. The estimated street value of the illicit cannabis products seized at the inspection locations exceeds $11,000,000.
