A tense situation unfolded Monday in Norwich, where a shotgun slug was fired through the floor of one apartment and into another below it, endangering the couple residing there. According to the Evening Sun, the incident occurred just before 4pm at an apartment building at 90 East Main Street. Police say they ended up having a conversation with 32 year old Sean Frear, who is not allowed to have a weapon due to a previous arrest. He ultimately surrendered to authorities. No injuries.
