The State Department of Transportation is asking drivers to don’t “crowd the plow” and maintain a safe distance when driving behind snow plows. The recommended distance is four vehicles. Snow plows drive 35 mph even on interstates. Officials warn drivers to stay out of a plow driver’s blind spots.
