Margaretville Fire Chief Nelson Delameter is awarded the Fire Service Community Achievement Award from the Firefighters Association of the State of New York. The awatd goes to a volunteer firefighter who is also active with one or more community service organizations. Delameter is the Delaware County Emergency Management Coordinator and a State of Emergency Services staff member.
