Oneonta Mayor Mark Drnek paid tribute at this week’s City Council meeting to “Al” Sayers Lutz who is celebrating his golden anniversary with the city fire department. Drnek says Al’s 50 years are the embodiment of commitment, not just to the job, but to the community and to his extended family of firefighters.
