Chenango County Sheriff Ernest R. Cutting Jr. announced several promotions. Lieutenant Joshua Gould is now Undersheriff. Det. Sgt. Dustin Smietana has been promoted to Patrol Lieutenant, Detective Jeffrey Barton has been promoted to Detective Sergeant.
And dispatcher Alan Burke has been promoted to the 911 Addressing Coordinator.
