19th District congressman Antonio Delgado will resign thiis week and be sworn in on Wednesday as New York’s lieutenant governor. He succeeds Brian Benjamin who resigned after he was charged with campaign bribery. Delgado was first elected to Congress in 2018. A special election to fill his congressional seat will be held on Aug. 23.
