Robert Ainsley is named as the new director of the Glimmerglass Festival. He succeeds Francesca Zambello, who led Glimmerglass for more than a decade. Zambello called Ainsley “a wonderful artist” who will bring “excellent vision and leadership” to a time of transition for the company.
