Super Heroes Humane Society receives a $440,000 state grant to go toward building a new facility. The money is from the Companion Animal Capital Fund awarded by the State Department of Agriculture. Shelter officials say they need another $400,000 to build the new shelter on Pony Farm Road in Oneonta.
