Bassett Healthcare Network received national recognition for a paper detailing efforts to curtail fatal drug overdoses during COVID-19. The CDC says overdoses have rapidly accelerated during the pandemic. The paper was a collaboration between Bassett Research Institute and the University of Massachusetts.
