Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled her proposed 2023 budget calling the $216 billion spending plan “socially responsible and fiscally prudent”. More than 20% of the budget is allocated to school funding, bolstering the health care workforce and proviging money for clean water, clean air and green jobs.
