A more than 2-decade Delaware County Sheriff’s Office deputy is promoted to Lieutenant. Joe Mauro began as a corrections officer and is now a special investigator. Lt. Mauro will now command the Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations and Civil Enforcement Divisions. He was sworn in last week.
