NY Lowers CDL Class A Minimum Age To 18

New York lowers the age for a Class A commercial driver license to 18 as a way to address the shortage of truck drivers. It’s the last state to lower the qualifying age from 21. A Young Adult Commercial Driver’s License Class A program is created to provide training and supervision.
