Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation designating a portion of State Highway 51 n the Town of Butternuts as SP4 Richard F. Walton, Jr. Memorial Highway. Walton served in the Vietnam war and was killed in a helicopter crash. Senator Peter Oberacker says it is his humble honor to help keep Walton’s memory alive.
