The Chenango County Health Department reports an 87th person died from COVID-19 related complications. It’s not clear if that person was vaccinated. There are 185 active COVID-19 cases with 469 propne in active quarantine. 6 people are hospitalized. The City of Norwich is under a COVID-19 State of Emergency to ensure resources are available.
