The City of Oneonta receives grants from the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority to explore the creation of district-style heat pumps to replace individual fossil fuel heating systems. The study will look at
existing residential and commercial buildings, the Oneonta Rail Yard and the SUNY Oneonta Campus.
