New York State Launches Initiatives to Help Domestic Violence Survivors

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and NY makes $6.5 million available for state-licensed service providers to offer survivors of domestic violence and their families with options for assistance and support. The state is conducting a Technology Safety and Innovation for Survivors public awareness campaign culminating with a panel discussion on Oct. 20.
