SUNY Oneonta Student Vaccination Rate Close To 90%

SUNY Oneonta’s student body is nearly 90% fully vaccinated for COVID-19. According to All Otsego 94% of students received at least one COVID-19 dose. Chenango County reports 12 additional COVID-19 cases on Wednesday with 138 cases active. 344 people are in quarantine and 7 are hospitalized. There were 7 new cases recorded in Otsego County on Wednesday with 111 cases active. 7 people are hospitalized. Neither county reported additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Delaware County Conducting Ag District #3 Review

Delaware County officials announce that a 30-day window for public review of Agricultural District #3 begins today. Delaware County Gets Approval For Walton Landfill Expansion

The Delaware County Department of Public Works receives state approval for an expansion of the Solid Waste Management Center in Walton. Officials say waste will be moved out of one location so it can be rebuilt and enlarged. The expansion will extend the lanfill’s useful life by 40 to 60 years. Felony Charges Filed After German Drug Raid

A narcotics investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office leads to a search warrant on Tuesday at a town of German home. In addition to methamphetamine deputies seized multiple loaded weapons and ammunition as well as over $3,600 in cash. Chenango County Has 83rd COVID-19 Related Death

The Chenango County Health Department reports an 83rd person died from COVID-19 related symptoms. The individual’s age and ggender weren’t released and it’s not known if they were vaccinated.
