COVID-19 Update

Otsego County recorded 12 additional COVID-19 cases on Sunday with 148 active cases. 12 people are hospitalized. Chenango County reported 11 additional cases on Friday with 106 active cases. 190 people are in quarantine and 8 are hospitalized. Neither county reported additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Nonprofit Rehabilitates Vacant Norwich Home

A Norwich home that sat vacant for 7 years is now fully rehabbed thanks to a volunteer organization. 53rd COVID-19 Related Death In Delaware County

Delaware County Public Health officials report a 53rd person died from COVID-19 related complications. The individual’s age and gender were not released and it’s not known if the person was vaccinated. There are 118 active COVID-19 cawses in the county with 4 people hospitalized and 170 in quarantine. New York is to receive $4.25 million over a 5-year-period to to help prevent prescription drug and opioid overdose-related deaths and adverse events.
