Man Steals From Store After Not Getting Change From Lottery Machine

A man is charged after stealing merchandise from a Unadilla store after its lottery machine didn’t give back the correct change. State Police say the man from New Jersey was caught after leaving the Route 8 business. He is due back in Unadilla next month. Meredith Domestic Dispute Results In Stabbing

A domestic dispute in Meredith on Monday turns physical resulting in at least one person injured. State Police were called to a State Highway 28 address and found an individual had been stabbed. One Killed In Guilford Accident

A two-car crash in Guilford results in a woman’s death. Police say it happened Monday on County Road 36 near the intersection of County Road 37 when a northbound driver crossed into the opposite lanes hitting a car head on. Judge Blocks NY COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate For Healthcare Workers

New York’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement for health care workers is temporary blocked by a U.S. District Judge. The court ruling determined the requirement did not allow for exemptions based on workers’ religious beliefs. It was the result of a lawsuit filed by healthcare professionals that said the mandate violated their constitutional rights. Drugovich Retiring As hartwick College President

Hartwick College President Margaret Drugovich is retiring in the summer of 2022. She’s been President for 13 years and during that time oversaw a number of changes including the Center for Craft Food & Beverage and the Grain Innovation Center in downtown Oneonta.
