Oneonta’s ReUse Center announces it has collected 9 tons of polystyrene for recycling. Officials say polystyrene which is better known as styrofoam is often not recycled and ends up in landfills. The Center began recycling polystyrene in 2019 after acquiring specialized equipment. The Center is a project of the Arc Otsego.
