New York is requiring that all healthcare workers be vaccinated for COVID-19 with at least the first dose being administered by Sept. 27. That includes those at hospitals, long tern care facilities and nursing homes. The State Department of Health also authorized a third COVID-19 vaccine dose for those with compromised immune systems such as organ transplant recipients.
