Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond released a statement on former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s commutation of David Gilbert who was convicted in a 1981 armored truck robbery that resulted in the deaths of 2 officers and a security guard. DuMond says the action is one last example of Cuomo’s disrespect for police officers who gave their lives.
