What started out as an accident in the Town of Sidney ends up with a man facing a felony charge for possessing stolen property. State Police say the one-car crash occurred July 4 on County Road 4 and a check of the vehicle’s ID number came back stolen. The suspect identified as Johnny Rivera of S. Glens Falls walked away from the scene but was apprehended a short time later, taken to the hospital then charged. Rivera is now free on his own recognizance.
