The Otsego County Board of Supervisors votes to particpate in a state Department of Environmental Conservation program allowing 12- and 13-year-olds to partake in deer hunting activities including using firearms. According to All Otsego 12 of the 14 supervisors voted to opt in to the department’s temporary program which wwas approved by the state legislature this year. Chenango, Delaware and Schoharie County lawmakers have also voted to participate.
