New York allocates $35 million to help expand employment opportunities for restaurant workers and provide relief to COVID-impacted restaurants. Qualifying businesses are eligible for a tax credit of $5,000 per new worker hired, up-to $50,000 per busines. Owners will need to demonstrate COVID-19 related losses and show proof of hiring at least one full-time worker.
